Reverend Mike Blankenship is the Lead Pastor at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church where he has been serving since 2006. He is married to Mary and has four children: Isaiah, Aaron, Seth and Wil.
Mike is a graduate of Mid-Continent Baptist Bible College (1993) and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (1997). He has been pastoring since 1987. Mike enjoys running, reading, and watching NASCAR and other sports.

YOUTH PASTOR
Chauncey Griffith has been teaching in the Boyd County Public School District since 2011. He is a graduate of Morehead State University and University of Cumberlands. He is married to Kristen and has two sons: Brantley and Oliver.
Chauncey enjoys spending time with his family, radio broadcasting, Marshall and UK athletics, and hunting.

Daniel Ferreira is the Music Director at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church where he has been serving since 2011. He is married to Kayla and has four children: Miguel, Leandro, Valentina and Adriana.
Daniel is a graduate of Marshall University (2012) with a B.F.A. in Music Performance and earned a Bi-Vocational Certificate at Clear Creek Bible Baptist College (2019). Daniel enjoys swimming, playing soccer, and cooking!

Diane Anderson is the secretary at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church where she has been serving since 1992. She is married to Jon and has two children, Ashley and Trevor.
Diane enjoys spending time with family, collecting Mickey Mouse items, traveling, and selling Mary Kay.

SECRETARY
Cherly Hicks is the custodian at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church where she has been serving since April, 2007. She has one daughter, Kendra, and two lovely grandaughters, Isabella and Cheyenne.
Cheryl enjoys horseback riding, camping, fishing, and kayaking.
